FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE : Cabin Fever? No tropical island in sight? Think that February is all downhill after Valentine's Day? Be at one with the frozen tundra. On Friday, February 26th, The Red Onion Restaurant presents "The Colors of the Calendar" event series. The first event, "Winter White, White Nights, Dinner Under the Czars” consists of a four-course Russian-inspired menu, featuring Taylor Hackford's 1985 film "White Nights" as a backdrop. Owners Chef Kevin and Rochelle Katz host an evening of culinary excitement blended with Slavic surprises where Moscovian cookery provides a comforting contrast to the outside chill. The Red Onion Restaurant’s "Colors of the Calendar" series, co-created with Eric Weiss, food and wine consultant and founder of Service Arts, Inc, will continue throughout the year. As "Winter White" introduces the month of February, the color "Sienna" will be highlighted in March with a regional Italian cuisine and specific art form-be it literature, art, history, music or fashion. The four course dinner is $45 or $65 with the Chef's selected wines, both menus are exclusive of tax and gratuity. The dinner, beginning at 7:00 p.m. has limited seating with reservations required in advance.
